General Hunts Marine Testimonial

Hi Jon, I recently purchased a second hand boat from your Sydney showroom and I wanted to share some feedback on my experience as a compliment to key Hunts staff members. My primary contact has been Tim Smith, he first took my email enquiry, was there to meet me when I first inspected the boat and dealt with the completion of sale and delivery of the vessel. In each interaction I found Tim to be authentic and engaged with regard to my enquiry, he was patient with explaining the questions i had and he also accommodated some of my asks when negotiating the purchase of the boat. On delivery he was very thorough explaining the boats features, the safety gear, some basic boat and trailer tips and a very comprehensive list of paperwork. Before delivery he shared his personal phone number and was again very responsive as I worked through options for fitting a new sounder, he remained very patient in explaining features, even sending photos of potential fit outs for the boat even though i did not proceed with the purchase of the sounder he maintained a customer centric posture. We were quick to enjoy some harbour fishing trips when the boat got home. Sadly after our 6th trip there was a fuel leak that raised immediate concern. I called Tim once more, he did not hesitate in suggesting the boat should return to Hunts and stressed the safety risk as a priority. Once the boat was returned he moved quickly to diagnose the faulty fuel tank (with the service team) that would be replaced under warranty. The initial lead time of 3-4 weeks ended up being just 8 days, I followed up with Tim once in the time it was in the shop to enquire about the lead time and even though it was his day off he was kind enough to take my call. The next day i was delighted when another member of the Hunts team called to say the boat was ready! 

I wanted to share my experience as I can not fault Tim in all my dealings, he is a great ambassador for your business, furthermore I have been impressed by the no fuss approach to the warranty repair of the fuel tank, the approach it was incredibly refreshing. I have no hesitation in recommending your business, proud to wear the Hunts Marine stickers on the boat and I look forward to my future dealings with your team in the future.
