SACRIFICIAL ANODE

All Riptide trolling motors (transom mount and bow mount) feature a sacrificial zinc anode to fight galvanic corrosion. The replaceable anode is conveniently mounted on the prop hub and provides for better protection and longer motor life.

Provides an extra measure of durability and corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, sharp appearance.

COOL, QUIET POWER

Minn Kota motors feature larger brushes and commutators to provide for cooler, more quite operation. Minn Kota's unique bearing system produces a motor with low rpm/high torque to cut down on fish spooking noise...so quiet they'll never hear you coming.

MAXIMIZER (RT55 Models only)

Conventional speed coil technology delivers a constant, steady flow of power to the motor, regardless of speed setting. The result is wasted power and excessive heat. Minn Kota variable speed motors utilise a system that delivers the precise amount of power needed at any speed setting. The result is five times longer run time on a single charge for more hours on the water.

URETHANE ENCAPSULATED ELECTRONICS

All Riptide control boards (transom mount and bow mount) are fully encapsulated in marine grade urethane to form an impregnable barrier against the destructive effects of saltwater.

INDESTRUCTIBLE COMPOSITE SHAFTS

Better than steel, particularly in saltwater. Will not bend, kink, rust or corrode. Guaranteed for life. Standard on all Riptide transom mount and bow mount models.

EXTENDABLE TILT TWIST TILLER CONTROL

Puts natural outboard convenience in the palm of your hand. The RT55 series has full variable control and the RT40 and RT50 have 5 forward settings and 3 reverse. All models feature a tiller that extends up to 15 centimetres for comfortable steering.
